The best chocolate bars we’ve ever eaten. Magical.
I liked the Black Forest Gateau bar, it was something absolutely different. I liked the fudginess and the cherry that went along to complement it. I like the mix of Milk and Dark Chocolate, and the milk chocolate is much more subtle.

This is my absolute favourite chocolate bar by far. Its the best fruity and chocolatey combination 😋 I have ever tasted, safe to say I did not share this bar with the family lol
Thick, rich dark chocolate with a Black Forest gateau gooey jelly centre! A full taste sensation! Definitely on the list to purchase again!
This bar is my daughter's favourite. She loves everything about it. Sadly it was not well treated by DHL. I emailed Chocolate smith's and their customer service is absolutely first class! I really appreciate them dealing with mishaps so quickly and so kindly!

This is not my favourite flavour (if anyone knows the Mon Cheri chocolate it reminds me a bit of that) but my daughter loves this and has requested a bar for Christmas. The cherry flavour is nice and fresh and I love a bit of dark chocolate.
Of all of The Chocolate Smith’s chocolate I have tasted this Black Forest gateau is my absolute favourite! It is delicious! The cherry complements the dark chocolate mixed in with the double chocolate fudge caramel & white chocolate ganache. Please don’t ever stop making this one! It’s SO good!
All I can say about this is that I want to be put on a Black Forest Gateau drip!! This was the most amazing thing I've ever tasted, and I was gutted when the bar came to an end (not so gutted that I didn't eat it in about 0.5 seconds but hey ho). I am just in love with this bar - it's equally creamy, tart, fruity and basically tastes like a Black Forest Gateau with the added bonus of stunning chocolate. I honestly want a bar a day of this stuff but my budget won't allow so I will stick to purchasing this when I fancy a little treat - it is worth the money!

Absolutely love this chocolate!!! I’ve ordered a couple times now, from the U.S. shipping doesn’t take long and it always arrives in good condition, and been a fan since the first order. It never fails to amaze me how good it tastes and looks. You can really see how much love and carefulness they put in their chocolates for us. Wish they made more like the Black Forest Gateau bar, it will always be my all time favorite. Also love the new packaging it’s super cute!
This one really blew my mind; I had high expectations but it somehow exceeded them. The filling was so gooey; the chocolate and cherry flavour worked perfectly together; and the slight tartness of the gel perfectly balanced the sweetness of the other elements. If I could give it more than five points I would; honestly probably my favourite Chocolate Smiths bar so far!
Wow this bar was bursting with flavour! My favourite bar so far although be warned it is very sweet (husband not fond but not a problem for me!) I will 100% be buying again
Well what can I say, this Black Forest Gateau bar is amazing tastes absolutely divine and resembles the taste of the cake, I don't usually like the taste of dark chocolate but this tastes just right, and all the flavours mixed together totally beautiful, thank you 😊 And againg it was packed with care. With instructions of how to store the chocolate 🍫 I look forward to receiving my next order.
The Cherry flavour wasn’t as intense as I would like, the taste felt like 95% chocolate and 5% cherries. I also prefer if there is cherry in every bite of chocolate but it felt like I was digging for cherries around the chocolate, but at the same time I’m not sure if my chocolate had melt along the way (I had it shipped from overseas) so the flavour became uneven. While it is good chocolate, it was far from my expectations of it
Love it! The dark, rich chocolate and the zinginess of the cherry make beautiful contrasting notes. A great experience, not knowing what to expect, it definitely made my day.
The flavour of this bar is insane and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be buying this bar again if I can- so I can enjoy it in it's truest form! I've knocked a star off because my bar arrived badly smashed. Also, as it was delivered during the hot weather I had to pop it in the fridge to harden up and due the severity of the brokenness I ended up with paper stuck actually in the bar. The other bar in my parcel was absolutely fine, so I know it was just a random accident. Broken or not- this bar was DELICIOUS!

I think dark chocolate and berries are a match made in heaven anyway -but the quality and flavour of this dark chocolate is outstanding - there's no chalkiness at all which I find with high street chocolate nowadays and the cherry adds balance and tartness. It's a huge favourite and a must try if you like chocolate and berry combos.

Really wanted to like this one (I’m a huge cherry fan!) but this one just wasn’t quite there. The cherry flavour was very faint, and the white filling kind of overpowered everything - maybe I just had an off one? But I won’t be repurchasing this one unfortunately

THIS!!! My oh my…..never had anything as scrumptious in my life. I could eat this Black Forest inspired bar forever. I couldn’t wait to stuff my face with it, so I didn’t take any pics! Utterly glorious. I’ve managed to grab myself another bar too. That cherry jammy centre is FIRE. I managed to get a bar in the Yumble sale. I have no idea what was wrong with it, it didn’t seem to have any damage. Just shows you what perfectionist they are at The Chocolate Smiths. Bravo team!!

This is our absolute favourite bar yet! The sweet and dark flavour contract is stunning. The hard crisp outside and oozy middle has our hearts.
I bought it as a gift for someone and they shared it with me. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. Definitely ordering again!

We ordered four different bars for the first time to try them out and the black forest one was by far our favourite. We prefer dark chocolate anyway and the cherry flavour was a perfect match, with a good balance between the chocolate and the filling. Delicious.
