This Bakineer Collaboration is one for pecan and caramel lovers!

We've teamed up with Hash and Hasib at The Bakineer! We've lined this collab with milk chocolate, piped in roasted pecan gianduja, maple caramel, The Bakineer's salted caramel sauce and white chocolate and pecan blondie. We've topped this with gold chocolate and roasted chopped pecans, with a sprinkling of Maldon Sea Salt.

Roasted Pecan Blondie Bar I'm not even nearly exaggerating when I say that this was one of the best chocolate creations that I've ever eaten in my life! It's actually one of the most enjoyable things that I've eaten. The Chocolate Smiths are famous for making some of the most unique and creative chocolates around. So, when I saw that they were collaborating with The Bakineer - known in the UK for their incredible blondies, brownies, and cinnamon scrolls - to make a roasted pecan blondie bar, I knew I had to get my hands on it. As a huge fan of their creations, this collaboration sounded (and looked) like a dream. A milk chocolate shell filled with roasted pecan gianduja, maple caramel, salted caramel and roasted pecan white chocolate blondie chunks, capped off with caramelised white chocolate mixed with pecans and sprinkled with Maldon salt. This was an absolutely incredible combination, both texturally and flavour wise. Everything from the sharp snap of the creamy, chocolatey milk chocolate, the smooth, pecan-forward roasted pecan gianduja, the fudgy, dense pecan white chocolate blondie, the deeply caramelised white chocolate, and the gooey, sweet maple and thick salted caramel was executed perfectly and harmonised so well. I could not pick a favourite element. The flavours of pecan, maple and caramel really sang throughout this collaboration bar. I absolutely adored the buttery, fudgy pecan blondie with its generous white chocolate pieces that melted on the tongue. The addition of both a maple and salted caramel was a genius move, providing a great balance while giving the bar a rich, salted maple pecan flavour. I am officially in love with The Chocolate Smiths chocolate and very highly recommend to anyone thinking to order. They are UK based but offer pretty fast shipping internationally with prices not much more than Austpost express. Very much worth it!

This was the most amazing chocolate I have ever tasted!! I don't have anything to compare it to. The caramel was out of this world and the brownie pieces were so soft. I even miss this chocolate bar as I'm writing this review

Oh my goodness, this was quite the choccie bar! It was absolutely delish, so decadent but also not too overpoweringly sweet (for me anyway!). Absolutely loved it and would definitely buy from here again!! Beautiful bar too.

Absolutely divine! I’m one of those people that gets a bit bored of regular ‘mainstream’ chocolate bars. I mean I like them enough, but sometimes I just want something a bit different but can’t explain what……well this bar IS that what! First thing’s first, this bar is huge! I’m talking THIIICCCCCK! Proper chunky! The gold chocolate base is thick and tastes lovely, with pecan bits and little sprinkles of sea salt. The filling is a combination of different things, kind of a cross between a brownie and cookie dough, hard to describe, but delicious. Then you have the maple caramel…..oh my god, it’s heavenly stuff! Fill me a bath with this beauty and I’ll die happy (and 20 stone heavier 😂). The milk chocolate top shell tastes lovely with the perfect amount of crispness and a lovely pattern of colours on it. Literally can’t say enough great things about this bar, I just know that I want another! It’s just one epic creation!

As someone with Texan heritage, I tend to have strong opinions on pecan-based desserts - and this one definitely delivered. It actually reminded me more of pecan pie than the Maple Pecan Pie Bar TCS has previously released, courtesy of the multiple pecan-based elements, of the rich, sticky caramel, and of the appropriately higher-than-usual salt levels. Hard to capture every component of this absolute beast of a chocolate bar in pics (also the second one shows there was a bit of a gap in the caramel aha - it was all so rich that I didn't feel short-changed, though!); I challenge anyone to eat more than one small piece at a time, but nonetheless I would 100% recommend it, especially if you like bold, full flavours.

This is truely the best chocolate I have EVER tasted!!! Surprising it’s not overly sweet, the flavours are all balanced so well. I just ordered 3 more blocks because today is the last day they are restocking and I’m genuinely sad that I may never try this again?! Top tier chocolate, thank you!!

Loved the idea of this bar however the amount of caramel + sweet brownie + milk chocolate was sickly sweet, would have been really nice with dark chocolate instead of milk to cut through the sweetness

The Bakineer X The Chocolate Smiths Collaboration 390g

Store owner replied: Thank you for your feedback! 💛 We're glad you loved the idea behind the bar, although we're sorry you found it a little too sweet. Dark chocolate is an interesting suggestion to balance the caramel and brownie, and we'll certainly pass it on to our creative team! 🍫

Honestly this was one of the best chocolate bars I’ve ever had. The chocolate was tasty and delicious. And the blondie from the bakineer was just as delicious as I imagined. I will be ordering more

The best chocolate bar I have ever eaten. Every bite filled with flavour. The pecan and caramel flavours are superb together. One down side (if you can call it that) is that the chocolate on the sides was too thick, that was all you are left with after the filling is gone. The salt was inspired. It really added a wow factor. I haven’t even mentioned the packaging. If you are into stylish packaging you’re in for a treat. Oh how I hope to find this collaboration on sale again. I have been dreaming of another bar of sticky goodness. Bravo 🤩

This was a bar and a half! Delicious chocolate, smoothest caramel and the brownie just added another dimension! Can’t wait to see what you do next. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Bakineer X The Chocolate Smiths Collaboration 390g

As always with all the collab bars, it arrives in the post & im straight in to take the first slice before I’ve even thought about taking a pic of it in all its glory. Once again it was gone in two days. Absolutely delicious

The Bakineer X The Chocolate Smiths Collaboration 390g

Mmmmm total chocolatey deliciousness right there to indulge and completely enjoy! This amazing creamy and utterly delicious bar was a treat to eat. I am not buying my chocolate from anyone else now because nothing else will ever taste better than this!!! Yummy and tasty 😋

The Bakineer X The Chocolate Smiths Collaboration 390g

Love the elements of the peacan maple bar, did find the collab salted caramel just a little over powering would have preffered more of the cs caramel expesh with sea salt already on the bottom of the bar it can get pretty salty. Over all a nice collab bar though.

The Bakineer X The Chocolate Smiths Collaboration 390g

The most scrumptious chocolate I've ever tasted. Made with such high quality ingredients that every element tasted unreal. Wonderful collaboration too! The packaging was also very special and memorable!

It was fantastic! But something to bear in mind if you’re ordering from Denmark is the additional fees you have to pay to receive it. I ended up paying €115 in total for two chocolates, which might come as a bit of an unpleasant surprise to most people. This isn’t the company’s fault; it’s simply due to the rules and fees in Denmark. But you still have to pay them.
